This is the only picture I have taken today!

On Sunday, with the help of our neighbours, we got quite far with putting up the awning that I ordered online. Yesterday, we got the part (the M6 nut that fell through the deck) that we needed to finish, but with the blustery winds and occasional showers, it was best left. I was so pleased that the fabric didn't get ripped, though an annoying pigeon has already left its mark on it.

Today wasn't as cool or warm, so after I finished my workday, G & I had a go. It was much easier than I thought it would be. We are happy with the result, though a little tweaking is still required. So, now we are slightly better prepared for any future heatwaves. :)

Today saw more stuff being completed. Stuart, the plumber, came back to properly stop the leak in G's bathroom, and he also did the annual servicing of the boiler.

We went out in the evening, wanting to check out a quiz night in a local pub, but couldn't get parked, so we went on to Tesco to get better and ended up buying a meal from there. Their quiche was delicious. Another day over. It's been a week and a day since we've been here. The lodge is slowly getting knocked into shape.
