Leopard Slug

This was on the path first thing this morning. 
It was nearly 8 inches long, but by the time I had got the camera it was a mere 4 inches and refused to stretch out again.

SWMBO and I went out for a walk after breakfast as it was dry but meant to rain in the afternoon.
We got half way round and it started wetting!

I had picked up the infrared camera and I am not sure it is the best medium to sent pictures to the Council to complain about the lack of maintenance/access on the main path for people going to/from the shops and schools from the estate that Bags lives on. There was a father and his two youngsters in a double buggy a short distance in front of us and he had to take a long diversion because there is no way he could get through. The path is actually wide enough for 4 people to walk side by side and SWMBO is only 5'4" and had to duck. I am 6'4" and think that within 2 weeks it will be impossible for me to get through.

After finishing our walk we went on a small shopping trip.
Needless to say the weather cleared and it turned out a lovely day.

I made and fitted handles to the two wooden mugs I have made for the SIL's bar.
