Sea air

After the very wet day we had yesterday, we had a beautiful sunny day today with a high of 21C which we consider to be just about perfect.

We felt the need of some salty air, and headed down the Ayrshire coast.  We had a bit of a walk at the harbour, where I took my main photo, and then we had a lovely lunch at Rope, sitting on their terrace and enjoying the views.

Bob had been to the podiatrist and his foot was sore, so he drove along to the edge of town, while I walked from the harbour along to meet him.  I found him having a seat with an umbrella up to keep the sun off.  We sat for a while, people watching, before coming home.

We were not terribly hungry after a good lunch but I had some leftovers from a sweet and sour chicken dish I had made last week, so we had that, and it was enough.
