Trains …..

Wednesday is hubbys train day.
One of the train chaps (Chris and wife Ann) arranges a gathering once a year at their house for snack lunch and social event.
Today was that day.
They have a train layout, G gauge (evidently stands for garden), in their garden, so while the men chatted and tinkered with the trains the wife’s chatted.  Lovely spread of food too.

This afternoon we collected the boys from school and back to ours.  Tea was McDonald’s, as grandad has booked for a volunteering stint at the local theatre.  It is in the amphitheatre, so sunglasses ready in his pocket.
