I realised

I realised yesterday that it's 8 days since the boys had a training free day.  I usually try to give the a day off after 5 or 6 days, but l have been meeting with friends and then one day took the other. 

So today has been a day off, which gave us time for a longer walk, which everyone enjoyed.
