Heron in flight

Today I took the dogs to Preston Bagot where we met B. We had a good walk along the canal. There were a few meadow brown butterflies but just one damselfly, also one dragonfly. We saw three herons. The one in the photo took off as we walked by. There were also some ducks and ducklings so I fed them some quack snacks. B and I had a snack by some logs. We sat on a log and also used an upturned log as a table. Definitely a good snack place as there was the view of the canal as well.
Later …. I played badminton and then went swimming.
