or the fort of the two hands is a Pictish fort of the eighth century and its remains are atop this hill overlooking the Spey Dam. This is incredibly dry now! Swallows and Martins flit above the water feeding on insects. A buzzard spooked the gulls, who flew over screeching! Apart from the Fallow deer in the park all was quiet and peaceful on this hot morning.
