Visiting the west

Over in Neilston today, visiting Liz, with Tim.

As ever, a nice visit (with me feeding her with jelly babies), despite our leaving being encouraged by Liz, who said ‘Are you leaving now’ (said in an encouraging manner), ‘When did you get here’, and ‘you’ll be going now’. Alzheimer’s is a strange, as well as cruel disease.

I took in some framed photos from thirty years plus ago, to help personalise the room a bit more. Ah, happy memories … where have all the years gone.

While it was a bit grey in the west, came back east and there’s not a cloud in the sky. It’s turned into a beautiful summers day.

I hope you have had an enjoyable midweek.
