Weedy Sunset

We were at the pool for opening time again this morning, followed by a quick brunch then off to see Sophie’s dance group Summer show.

Sophie has been feeling under the weather the last two days, quite literally - too much sun we think. Anyway she was a trooper and got through her group’s number with her customary gusto before heading home to recuperate.

We were home in time for the Wimbledon Men’s Final which was a closer and more entertaining affair than yesterday’s Ladies’, though we were all rooting for Alcaraz.

We watched the first half of the Lionesses win against Wales at the Euros, by which time the result was a foregone conclusion and we were sported out.

With Sophie not in the mood for being a photo model, here you have tonight’s sunset behind our weedy garden wall.
