Mice and Murder

This one took a bit of getting into but so thoroughly enjoyed it by the time I finished.

That makes 17 squares done (extra) so plenty more still to do.

I had a good day on campus catching up with colleagues and starting to work out everything I need to do for the start of term.

Bobbie popped around in the evening and brought a trial chocolate cake as she wants to make Leo’s birthday cake. It was gone in a flash so that bodes well but they decided it needed to be a little more chocolatey. She brought just the sponge though so I reckon if she did the same again it will be chocolatey enough once the buttercream goes on the real deal.

They are both a bit worried it won’t turn out that well so asked me to get a small backup just in case it is a disappointment! There will be plentiful cake to get through at this rate.

Bobbie has virtues various piping bags and nozzles so I am looking forward to seeing the masterpiece. Am sure it will go down a treat.
