Day 3

it was a busy day.  I worked out with the physical therapist and was able to get myself from the bed to a commode chair right next to it. couldn't have done that yesterday. so I'm optimistic.

The social worker came by to talk about rehab, as it looks pretty certain that I will need to do that for at least a little while. We're hoping to find one close to the dialysis clinic, as I would have to be transported from the rehab to the clinic. she'll let me know if she finds some good ones. 

Lex came by for a visit just as the dialysis tech was setting up the machine but once I was hooked up we had a good visit. She may be able to come again tomorrow. I hope so.

The temperature tomorrow is forecast for 86°. I'm so glad I will be in this cool hospital instead of going outside. Hope you are all keeping cool and enjoying life.
