Isle of Lewis

A very hectic day! Left at 5am for the ferry to Harris. Our mission for the day was to collect a new (old) car, rehome 3 young cockerels and pick up a kayak. We were also given a tour of Croft 2a where our cockerels are going to live. They have loads going on - cattle, sheep, pigs, pygmy goats, rabbits, ferrets, turkeys and ducks! Rowan and Muireann met their mini crofter equivalents, Emily and Isabel, and loved seeing all the animals. Muireann’s favourite was the bunny rabbits and Rowan’s favourite was the Pygmy goats (and chickens!). We also somehow ended up bringing two hens back with us.
