Guildford Taxis

Today, I got to Specsavers! Something that I've been needing to do since 2020! I got a quick appointment, only booking a few hours before it. I was told to allow one hour, but it took almost three hours to get tested, choose frames and then decide on the lenses and variances. It cost more than a pretty penny. There you go. I'll go back in two weeks.

G was supposed to have parked the car and met me, but she made the wise decision to sit it out at the Cathedral, where she witnessed a few graduation ceremonies.

Yesterday, a monitor arrived. Today, I got to try it out. I caught up with some work in the afternoon/early evening. It's crazy how quickly it builds up when you leave things for a couple of days!

My blip is of the taxi rank that I waited next to after I finished at Specsavers. Guildford has the most unique colour for its taxis!
