Baby goldfinch

Stuck my lens out the window this morning for a few shots of all the action on the bird feeder - and was happy to spot a young goldfinch there.  The previous owners of our house had told us that they loved sunflower hearts - looks like they were right!

Busy work day, but I finished almost on the dot of 6pm, and decided to go for a walk.  Just as I was getting ready to go, it tipped it down - so I started emptying the dishwasher instead, then headed out a few minutes later, and managed a mostly dry walk at the Cairn - before it rained heavily again later.
