Morning Walk
These are the hills on the Western edge of the Campsie Fells as viewed from the moor above Loch Ardinning Nature Reserve this morning. They have been shaped by volcanic activity with lava flows and several volcanic plugs giving them a distinctive profile. The forecast this morning was for rain by 9.30 so I set off early and luckily got back tho the car just as the first drops fell.
I didn't even notice the big black slug feasting on the broken fungus in the first extra until I had downloaded it from the camera.
