Nettle Damsel

I spotted a pristine small copper butterfly with its beautiful wings spread in the front garden this morning but failed to capture it. :(

I went looking for the wasp spider I saw down the field yesterday but failed to find it. :(

I did manage to get a shot of the first willow emerald damselfly, a female, that I have seen this year. :) I shot my first on this property in 2017. The earliest that I have photographed one here was 4th July in 2021. These spreadwing damselflies emerge later than other damsels and dragons.
