St Mary-Le-Strand

I posted a picture of St Mary-Le-Strand 3 years ago when the work to pedestrianise the area around it had just begun.  Today it's a lovely place full of gardens and benches.  I was on my way to Apple, Covent Garden, to pick up a new, bigger iPad to replace my small old one whose battery was dead. My idea is that I can use Lightroom Mobile on it and not have to take an iPad and a MacBook Air with me when I travel.

I had already spent an hour watering in St John's Garden, having brought a sprinkler attachment with me from Oxfordshire (where Thames Water have already announced a hose pip ban).  The last time there was a hose pipe ban in London, there were no exceptions for public Gardens like ours, and, as we have just spent months planting up the Garden, lack of water would be a disaster.  So we are sprinkling in anticipation of Thames Water announcing a hose pipe ban for London shortly!
