Mother

Mum surrounded by some of the wonderful staff in her care home. I told them yesterday that it was her 91st birthday today and that my sister would be calling in with flowers and a card.
When she got there they brought out a cake and all sang “Happy Birthday”. We hadn’t asked them to do this and it was a lovely thing to do. Sadly, my sister reiterated my impressions from yesterday that mum wasn’t really aware of what was happening.
At least we know she is being looked after and doesn’t appear to be in any pain or distress. I take my hat off to the care staff - I don’t think it’s a job I could do.

Thanks to my sis for the photo.
