Tree - Time 2025, Part 7

Up until the last hour or so, it has rained most of the day today. Which just happens to be St. Swithin's day...

Even so, we went out. First we had a trip to the tip to take some old electrical items that no longer work or, in the case of the air fryer, had been recalled for being unsafe. They didn't actually want it back, and advised cutting off the plug and taking it to the tip.

From there we went to Hartsholme Park, where I took my monthly tree photo and Brian got his monthly river shot. It rained quite heavily all the time we were there, but we still had a good long walk, mostly under cover of the trees. 

Once home we had lunch and then cracked on with cleaning and tidying up. I got Brian to give the house one of his mega vacuums.

It's coming in very dark and gloomy again now. I hope it won't be like this all week while Brian is off...
