Rosebay Willowherb

Epilobium augustifolium

One small floret (width 20-30mm) from a tall spike of Rosebay Willowherb found on a quick trip to Morn Hill around lunchtime.  My entry for TinyTuesday. Many thanks to JDO for hosting this month. 

It's certainly cooler today though cold drinks are still badly needed.  It even pretended it was going to rain but never quite made it and the next three days at least are going to be hotter again with no sign of the wet stuff at all.  I don't think we have a hosepipe ban yet around here, though many places do.  The garden, I have to say, is crumbling rather..

Possibly the same could be said of me  ;))
