Spire of Lloyd

At the Spire of Lloyd near Kells. It is a tower built in the late 18th century as a memorial to the then Earl of Bective's father. But it was also handy for watching horse racing and hunting in the area.

The cross is in the adjoining pauper's graveyard for the victims of the Great Famine in the mid 19th century.
