A Special Birthday

So the big day arrived. L has arrived in a new decade and we went out to celebrate at lunchtime. As we pulled up this lovely Austin Healey 3000 BT8 mark I was parked next to us. Beautifully preserved (much like L), the owner was proud to show off his restoration work. The BT8 had two (very small) bucket seats in the back, making it a 2+2, not that anyone other than a small child would fit in it!

Even more coincidental it was made in the same year that L was born, so you have two classics in the picture.

Later L had work colleagues and friends around for the evening, to further celebrate the big day.
