Graduation

A busy graduation day in Lancaster for 20yo and a proud day for all of us. An early start as he was in the first ceremony of the day and there was lots of gown collection and queuing to do before the event itself. It was good to meet some more of his friends and entertaining to discover that I knew the Dad of one of his house mates of the past two years.

After the ceremony there was a group photo, which took much corralling and balancing (main image - 20yo on the back row, six from the right). Then up and down the campus a couple of times attending a reception, returning the gown, collecting certificates and so on.

We popped over to Morecambe for a late lunch, then I was dropped back in Lancaster for the train journey home, while 20yo had celebrations with friends planned into the night.
