Eliza still very unwell this morning and the conclusion was sunstroke.  So her trip to Glasgow was off for the day.  It was pouring with rain a bit of a shock after the last lovely days.   We went to look at the house that a friend of Jonathan has bought and is restoring. It’s much bigger than it looks from the road and we (with permission) went all over the property and into the house, downstairs at least.  A lot of work to do!  The highlight for me was that I saw a hare loping through the trees.  Somerset says that there are fewer now the Sea Eagles have become established and those that survive tend to spend more time in woodland.

We went into Tobermory to pick up some fish for dinner and had a good bowl of chowder at MacGochans.

In the afternoon I went up to Charlotte’s to see the exhibition all based around small houses, her cat Bella joined us and apparently particularly likes preening herself against this one.

Then over to @treshnish for a drink and a chat, as always we heard lots of Island chat.

Unfortunately once I got home I succumbed to the same illness as Eliza so it was early night and nothing for supper.
