It is so nice to be home.  It was a warm day and I only had one layer and jeans on today.  I went back to the exercise class at the pool today and was able to keep up.  I had lunch with the ladies and caught up on their news.
In the afternoon we went down to see the sister in law.  On Fridays blip I said she had water lapping at her house.  Today we saw it is still flowing out to the paddock.  She is not near a river and the water is flowing from neighbouring orchards to her place.  There is proof because apples are floating past.  The water table is so high the water can't drain away.  You can see the channel her neices husband dug with a tractor to give the water somewhere to go.  Her house and garage stayed dry but only just.  She plans to landscape the area and have a swale created to give future flooding somewhere to drain along.
