Visible from all over reykjavik its quite an amazing looking building

We flew sleasy Jet for the first time in about 10 years and not surprisingly had a "never again" moment at checkin. Things got much better once we arrived in Reykjavik. Weather was sunny spells but not at all warm if you were not in the sun. I had a "dirty brunch" in the Laundromat Cafe - which is essentially a fried breakfast with a healthy breakfast on the same plate.... The Laundromat cafe lives up to its name downstairs where you can do your washing. What a good idea better than sitting watching your undies go round and round in a grotty laundrette.

Went on an interesting free walking tour, and learned about icelandic history and the pots and pans revolution after the financial crisis.

Met our guide and the other guys on the trek (there are 15 of us). We head out tomorrow.
