A Bite

Or Sting.

I have already reported that I spent Saturday participating in a Bio-Blitz at Kinghorn Loch where I came into contact with a number of beasties from water, land and air.

The only one I was worried about was an attack by ticks (deer use part of the site).  I checked myself when I got home and again in the morning.  No sign of any ticks - huge sigh of relief.

BUT . . . I did have two bites (or stings) visible on my right hand/forearm.  One of them itched.

By Monday, the one on my forearm had almost disappeared.
The itchy one, situated between my index finger and middle finger had developed a 4mm diameter blister - and still itched.

I decided to photograph it as a record in case it develops further, but hopefully it won't.

I've no idea what caused it as I didn't feel anything at the time.
