Successful day

Apart from torrential rain and a twenty minute wait to get onto the old Military Road at the Rest and be Thankful, we had a good journey down to Glasgow and, in particular, the Fishing Megastore for Nick to purchase a new pair of waders. Shopping completed we headed east to our campsite on the edge of Almondell and Calderwood Country Park. We are staying here for three nights as we are having a couple of jobs done on the motorhome on Tuesday and Wednesday before heading north to the fishing rivers. As soon as we arrived I took Bertie for a walk down to the Union Canal feeder stream where I took my blip.
