Yellow Fungus

I’ve tried to find out it’s name, but struggling to identify it. It might be Dyer’s polypore or sometimes known as Velvet-top fungus. That’s a pathogen fungus that can kill conifers. It can be used to produce dye for yarn in a variety of shades. It’s approx 10cm diameter and has changed quite a lot in the time since I first spotted it in the wood. Some shots of it over the last couple of weeks in Extras.
It’s been wet most of the afternoon, so housework got done.
