We started up Pen Y Fan in bright sunshine but just short of the last climb a storm blew in. We were soaked within minutes and the wind was really strong and rain like icy needles on our faces so we decided to give up and head back down. Bit disappointing but definitely the right decision. Poor Nell struggled a bit with the descent. Anyway we still managed to have a laugh especially when Mike's tangerine rolled some way down the hill followed by Toby's apple! And when we realised we had his and hers jumpers. Just call us Howard and Hilda (depends how old you are if you remember them!)
