Wild Raspberries
We had a trip to Melrose this morning. I didn’t manage to take any photographs while we were out, so I went out just before tea and found these lovely looking raspberries. Unfortunately they were behind a lot of nettles but I still succeeded tasting one or two. They were delicious.
After all the bat excitement yesterday, I discovered late last night that after I had left church before coffee time yesterday (Mark and I had planned to see The Ballad of Wallis Island, which I can recommend if you are interested) one of our congregation disturbed a wasps nest that we hadn’t realised had been built behind a curtain. He was stung multiple times and several other members of the congregation were also stung. He got 12 stings to his head and several on his arm as well. I am glad I had made a swift exit.
