A change of blip today but still on a mission to hunt down the remaining 15 or so bookbenches. It wasn't sunny today so I decided to go to find Oldmeldrum's one. That's where I saw the statue. A quick Google search informed me it was a sailor in 19th century French naval attire.. I went to get the bus home again and was glad I asked a local 
where the bus would stop as s because of a road closure I would have to walk back to the main road.. Once I was back in Aberdeen I collected the one at Union Square which is the shopping centre next to the bus station
