Bokeh

An early upload as this Southern Hawker flits over the plants in the back garden pond. Full frame and no crop, it could have had a bit more depth of field but the dragon almost flew into the lens, lol. Really, it's all about the bokeh.

There's a breeze this morning, and the temperature has dropped sharply. It's almost hinting at the end of the current heatwave, and rain is forecast for the middle of the week (albeit we're barely on the southern edge of it).

I have an extra ordinary meeting of the parish council this evening, after the planning authority issued a late variation to change the design of the already intrusive railway footbridge, to a cheaper, even less attractive one.

Hoping for cool heads... ;-)
