Wish we were here

I mean we were, but just visiting for two days to look at properties for sale. 

Morning coffee in our favourite Hay cafe.

Saw a delightful house and had a great hour with the lovely seller but not for us alas. Not cat friendly and has a stream running through it that brings legal responsibilities for maintenance. I’m too old to be wearing waders and pulling up water weeds.

Went to Leominster for a look ‘round. Very strange place with very few shops open and populated by zombies. 

Back in Hay we sat in a pub garden on a very hot afternoon. Did a bit of browsing and watched the queues outside Shepherd’s Ice Cream Parlour. Took a walk along the river and spent the evening with our friend D who cooked us a lovely meal. 

Quick pint before bedtime. Staying in a lovely b&b opposite the clock tower. 

The future feels closer than ever but just out of reach. Seeing some more places tomorrow.
