Ipomoea indica

Morning Glory to most of us! This is the perennial version and has produced a stunning show of flowers in the past few weeks. Each flower only lasts a day and is a very striking blue colour.
I find myself humming a song by Flanders & Swann when I look at this........

Said the right-handed honeysuckle to the left-handed bindweed:
"Oh let us get married if our parents don't mind;we'd
Be loving and inseparable,inextricably entwined;
we'd live happily ever after,"
