Things people do ...

Went out just after 9 am to beat the heat. Had a long walk on the cliff top past the Nici Hotel then back through town. Was distressed to see this poor little mite inside a car, sweltering in the glare of the sun!

We were home by about 10-ish. Relaxed and watched the news, etc. Went down to chat with M&S, second homers, in the shade in the garden. Got quite cool.

Then back up for the very big match. Alcatraz seems a sweetie, but sorry had to support the Italian. And he won - first time an Italian has won the men's singles at Wimbledon.

Looks like everybody's gone home. The Overcliff looks empty. Hoping the weather is cooler tomorrow - I believe it is.

Difficult to sleep in this weather - it's more uncomfortable during the night than during - for me anyway.
