Baptising beautiful Kalimba

Such a great morning at church... Starting with pre church Alpha and the youth (extra) work stuff too. Lovely to look round and see the space used so well whilst Alanna and I set up for the service.
We had so many folks today, I was constantly getting out more chairs and topping up the iced water (so hot). And then we ended at the beach baptising gorgeous Kalimba who recently gave her life to Jesus. What a privilege to share this moment with her!
Home for r&r despite the fact we should have been packing for our UK trip! And then this evening Mitch invited us out for tea! So we walked the pretty coastal route to see him. A lovely time with him, ending by seeing his new apartment he's rented. And as we walked home we bumped into Claire and Stefan!

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Such special times at church lately. A new guy gave his life to Jesus this morning.
2) Baptising Kalimba in the sea - random folks on the beach joined in and clapped for her!
3) Time with Mitch... Though he was sad to hear about Craig. The kids enjoyed time with him and loved playing Top Trumps together (extra).
