Helping hand

The original plan for today was to take in a pre-season friendly (Telford Town v Stafford Rangers) but Valorant won Aaron's affections instead so, after a stop-start morning, the rest of us headed over to Blists Hill for a run around the outdoor play. 
Unfortunately, somebody slept a bit too heavily in the car and woke up very grumpy. So much so that we threatened to go home. 
Thankfully, somebody managed to pull themselves round to have an ice cream and a good play. That included roping me into a lot of it, including moving the buckets of sand around the 'house'.

Once we got home it was still easily warm enough to get the paddling pool out for a cool down that descended into a full on water fight between Owen and me, complete with loud shreiks as the cold water hit...from both of us.
