No Longer A Member

Does this look like a golf club driving range, I suppose it does and yes it used to be. Back in the day I was a member of Killiow Golf Club, I found it more relaxed and a good deal cheaper than other locally courses. It was a reasonable course that I enjoyed playing and it’s where Joshua learnt to play.

Now it’s a cafe/ restaurant and where David and I met for brunch. Really nice food and great company but I came away thinking I’d talked too much.
We sat outside enjoying the midday sun and boy was it warm, all too quickly a couple of hours had passed and we went our separate ways, I’m already looking forward to next month, just need to find a venue.

Paddy is uncomfortable in the heat, restless and listless if that makes sense. We have another three or four days before we get cooler weather when I intend to give him an extended walk and play session.

I’m ploughing through a couple of books hoping to clear the backlog but I’m easily tempted by a bargain, ex MP Rory Stuart’s book was today’s choice.
