a lifetime burning

7 Spot Ladybird

Cathy and I spent an enjoyable evening yesterday watching the re-run of the 1985 Live Aid concert, back in the day we were glued to it, as were most people.  Revisiting it now we were struck by just how many of the male performers were sporting mullets, some of them really quite extreme (Bono).

When we finally went to bed sleep was hard to find - it was sooooo hot.  I was up by 7am however, to make sure that we let any cooler air into the house before we shut it up again.  The air temperature in the shade at 7am was 22C - that's 70F in old money.

I also got out early and found today's blip entry and then processed it, while it was still cool enough to sit in front of a screen. I'm off to have a nice cold shower now.
