Take 1 egg
Ok so we are back from Turkey it has been one of the best holidays yet - ok well aside from the debarcle at the airport and on the planes both ways but the least said soonest forgotten!
The weather was (in hushed tones ....) slightly too hot during the day but we managed a few cooling effes lagers to counter the effects of the sun!
It was a total culinary journey this time as there were only 2 of us we ate out for most meals we had such a variety it was great and the quality never let us down. The meals that stood out most though were the slow roasted shoulder of lamb with perfect veg served in the most amazing little beach bar overlooking the bay. The New York Steak which I had just after the most delicious fish soup and watching the most amazing sunset, the sushi from the same restraunt beautifully prepared by a man who looked exactly like Mr.Miagee from karate kid and finally the saurkraut from the german restraunt was also excellent.
The only thing missing and I hate to say it was the kids!
Todays Take 1 Egg: quails eggs lightly boiled and served with crusty bread,butter and salt and pepper a simple but tasty breakfast and in turkey the work out at about 45p per dozen !
