The hottest day of the summer so far

Today was a hot day! I took the first tick-borne encephalitis vaccination in a Punkkibussi bus, which visited Pirkkala today. I have planned it for years. We have more and more ticks and TBE is more common also in our area.

I have done packing almost all day and it's hard work! Sari and Heka visited us in the evening, it was lovely to sit and chat outdoors on a warm night. Hubby prepared a smoked salmon for us.

Sarah Bernhardt peonies are also in bloom now.
