Cake anyone?

It was lovely and cool in the church this morning. I was helping to serve tea and cakes to the people who had been walking round the village looking at the various scarecrows. I wasn’t sure how busy it would be given the extreme heat but it was non stop all morning. I think people were just pleased to find somewhere cool to sit down, enjoy their food and drink and listen to our lovely village harpist. A bit cooler this afternoon as there is a bit of a breeze.
