Firecracker Time

The Jacob Cline monarda (also called bee balm) is in full bloom in the original butterfly garden, and the flowers look fancy, like firecrackers. The hummingbirds are in there full force, swooping and diving at each other. They can be very feisty little critters when they want to be. I heard bodies hitting bodies. Take it easy there, little fellas! There is plenty here for everyone. I wish there were a hummingbird in this photo but there is not. 

I was standing by the garden taking pictures of the blooms, when a hummingbird came in. It flew all around, but I didn't get any decent sharp shots. There is some little creature identification program that happens when I click on "show info" in my photo program on a Mac. It identified my hummingbird as a BANANA! Ha! Stick THAT in your pipe and smoke it!
