THE BRIGG
The start of another grand morning.
This is the end of Filey Brigg, North Yorkshire, UK. It extends out to sea after the boulder clay cliffs along the Cleveland Way, a long-distance footpath.
To the right of this image Filey Bay opens out to seven miles of what used to be golden sands. The signs of winter storms still expose clay along the beach and I fear it will be next winter before the sands can return.
