SFMOMA Ruth Asawa.(1926-2013)

Today we went to see this exhibition in the SFMOMA.  With C’s friends, the ones i do art with on line!

I love her suspended looped-wire pieces for which she is well known.  But she was also a great artist and my favourite piece is a bowl of cherries.  A watercolour painting.  I also loved some huge wooden doors which her children, they had six,helped her burnish etc.

This evening we were off to the ball game!  A great evening with tacos, fries and popcorn! We were sitting a few yards from the plate!  Behind us some very funny vocal guys who taunted the opposition and egged on our players! Hope their throats aren’t too bad tomorrow!
