I made a curtain.

I made a curtain.  That's something I've not done before.  

I think that given the thickness of the material I might have made it too wide.  Normally the advice is to start with a curtain 2 to 2.5 times the required width to allow for gathering in pleats.  This is thick material for small windows so I went for 1.75x, but I think maybe even less would have been better.  We'll see when we get a chance to try hanging it!

Now I need to make at least another two, in equally odd sizes and configurations, to replace the ones missing on the boat.
