Loon Observation Night

Went out last night to Moss Lake for loon observation night where they capture several loons out on a lake, bring them to shore to tag them, take a few measurements, and also take some feather and blood samples to determine mercury levels. I got to hold the loon chick!! which was amazing and a once in a lifetime experience, I couldn't have been happier.
