Anyone for……Shade

It was my ladies tennis morning today and I did give it my best shot (no pun intended) but it was so hot that after about 45 minutes of play, I was horrid and florid! We retreated to the shade and chatted instead.
Home for lunch, hang washing out and wait for Mr P’s new studio furniture (he and son no 1 had gone to the gym). Suffice to say I was not impressed by FedEx (awful delivery service). We’d planned to drive son no 1 and his partner to IKEA tomorrow so that they could look at options for their new house but as it’s forecast to be the hottest day of the year so far, we decided to do it this evening instead. After our IKEA visit, Sinéad (son no 1’s partner) treated us all to a yummy Chinese meal at the Mandarin Garden or as the boys call it Mandi G!
