When On A Sheep Farm
Today has been lovely and quite, in comparison to the intense busyness of the last five days. Caleb had work today, so Little Man and I spent most the day on the farm.
Little Man slept in until almost 10 o'clock. The lack of sleep he's had since Monday was allowed to work it's way out of his little body. He needed the sleep. We then spent the day exploring the farm. Farmer John, the owner of Knockaloe Beg, brought some young male sheep past the farm as he needed to move them to a different field, due to an issue with flies. They were moved to a field closer to the house. We were able to get some photos before he took them to their pasture (see the first two extra photos).
We went with Fiona, Farmer John's wife, to Peel. She wanted to go for a swim, so Little Man and I had the chance to do some exploring. We also threw some shells into the water (see the third and forth photos). We got back to the farm, and spent some time relaxing in our room. Little Man won't sleep during the day, so I try to ensure he gets some rest time during the day, often with the tablet.
Caleb back from work in the late afternoon. We were both tired to go to the nearby barbecue that was being hosted by a few people from one of the local Four12 churches. Instead, we went back to Peel for fish and chips for dinner. Caleb wanted to put a load of wet laundry into the tumble dryer at a laundrette. It was a lovely outing to end a lovely day.
